Open spaces, Scandinavian interior, eco-friendly practices, a feeling of coziness and home - this is RUBO Hotel in Shumen! A dream come true for two sisters who graduated Hospitality Business Management in Switzerland and returned to their hometown to show the best of what they are capable of.
The ground floor welcomes guests with a large open space that is reminding of the living room at home. This is where we serve breakfast in the morning and coffee in the afternoon.
The lobby bar opens out onto a cosy garden where you can enjoy the finer things in life in pleasant company.
Through a roller shutter door, you enter the underground parking lot, where one will find the electric vehicle charging station.
The lift leaves from the underground parking and passes through all the floors with hotel rooms - Standard, Deluxe and our most favorite - apartments with a fully equipped kitchen and a balcony.
We do also have a modernly equipped conference room suitable for business meetings, seminars, trainings, interviews and even a home office.

Dana and Boryana - two sisters with 7 years difference in age, who fulfilled their dream to work side by side in building and operating their own Swiss-style hotel in their hometown of Shumen. Both graduated in Hospitality Business Management in Switzerland and after several successful internships abroad decided to come back to Bulgaria to create RUBO Hotel. Interior design has always been Dana's strength and she is responsible for the design of the place. The rooms, the amenities, the extra services - everything has been carefully thought out and implemented by her. Furthermore, a year after opening, Dana realized how important marketing is and enrolled in a comprehensive Digital Marketing Online program so she could implement the most up-to-date practices in social media, email campaigns, website optimization, advertising and to date, she is actively involved in Hotel Marketing. Boryana has professional experience in Reservations and is fully committed to taking them, both by phone and email. /If you are wondering who you are talking to on the phone when you call - you already know 😊/ Besides, both of them have always loved numbers and math, but the accounting is entrusted to the younger sister. The "skill" was inherited from their mother and in the course of her work, Boryana managed to do the "month-end closing" more and more independently, in the language of accounting.
